Cooper Lake Trail Description

Hiking along the Cooper Lake Trail is a quick and easy experience that will expose you to some amazing forest and lake scenery, as well as some of the old logging practices that used to be followed in the area. The trail heads through the dense forest to the southwest, following a log flume that was used for transporting felled trees in the 1920s by using the power of flowing water. After winding your way through the beautifully atmospheric forest terrain, you will arrive at the heavily wooded shores of Cooper Lake. Take some time to appreciate the beautiful views and explore the area before heading back along the same route to return to the trailhead.
