Kootenay National Park is one of seven contiguous parks that form the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site. It is located in the SE corner of the province of British Columbia, separated from Banff National Park by the continental divide as well as the BC/Alberta border. Kootenay National Park is full of wonderful natural sites of both beauty and historical significance to the aboriginal cultures and settlement of western Canada.

Kootenay National Park is open all year, but most often frequented by visitors in the warmer months.
