Green Lake Trail Description

The Green Lake Trail is a calm, enjoyable hike that leads you to a serene lake surrounded by trees. The beginning of this hike is more laidback, making it less challenging for the distance it covers.

The hike begins on the Carbon River Trail directly past the end of the road. Follow the trail east. You’ll cross June Creek and then another smaller creek. A third creek crossing happens prior to the trail dropping off to the south. At the junction, stay right.

Continue south, stopping off to admire Ranger Falls when you pass them on the left. Cross Ranger Creek and then find yourself at the lovely lakeshore. After you’ve appreciated the lake, retrace your steps to the parking lot.
