Embark on your adventure along the Mount Sniktau to Grizzly Peak Hike from the Mount Sniktau Trailhead. From here, trek east up the Mount Sniktau Trail. Ascend the steep terrain to the mountain saddle intersection, keep left here, and hike over the ridge up to the summit of Mount Sniktau. Enjoy the expansive mountain vistas from atop the peak. When you are ready, descend the summit and trek along the ridge back to the intersection. From here, keep straight and you will be diverted onto the Grizzly Peak Trail. Descend the summit and hike along the rock, exposed ridge along the saddle. Soon you will have to ascend the steep, rocky terrain up to the summit of Grizzly Peak. From atop Grizzly Peak, revel in the breathtaking views. Notice Chihuahua Lake below and Grays and Torreys Peak in the southeast. Take a break, rest, and refuel before beginning your trek back to the trailhead. To get back to the parking lot and trailhead, simply retrace your steps along the ridges and back down the Mount Sniktau Trail.
