Deer Lake Trail Description
The trail around Deer Lake is a short out-and-back hiking route in Sasquatch Provincial Park that sets out from the Lakeside Campground and travels closely along the southern shore of the serene woodland lake. Although the initial half of the trail is a family-friendly route through the forest, the second half stretches beyond the trail and traverses a fairly technical boulder field. Hikers wanting to utilize the entirety of the trail should be prepared for more difficult conditions. All things considered, this trail makes for a fun hiking route that can be enjoyed by both families and experienced hikers alike – depending on how far along the trail you choose to go.
