Chipmunk Creek Trail Description
The Chipmunk Creek Trail is a lightly-trafficked hiking route in the Fraser Valley that sets out from the Chilliwack River and climbs through a beautiful forest setting. The trail itself is covered in roots and rocks, making for a lightly technical but not overly difficult route. The real challenge of this hike is in the 2254ft of elevation gain, most of which is packed into the initial stretch of the trail along a series of switchbacks. Along the trail, hikers will likely have the peaceful forest setting to themselves and will also have the opportunity to look out over the valley and surrounding mountains from a few scenic lookouts. This trail is an ideal destination if you are looking for a bit of solitude in the wilderness.
