Cave Creek Campground via North Shore Trail Description
Hiking to the Cave Creek Campground via the North Shore Trail is a great way to experience the beauty of Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, while exploring the various trails that connect the five different campgrounds dotted around the lake. Hikers should take note that this is a point-to-point trail and you will need to retrace the 1.8mi journey to return to the parking area at the Home Basin Campground.
Along this amazingly scenic woodland trail, you will follow closely alongside the edge of Whiteswan Lake and be inundated with breathtaking views that stretch out across the blue expanse of the water. Framing the picturesque lake, you will have a spectacular backdrop of wooded slopes and rugged mountain peaks that characterize the landscape within the park. As the trail features little in the way of elevation gain, you will arrive fairly quickly at the Cave Creek Campground, where you can set up camp for an amazing night by the water’s edge.
