The Seven Sisters Trail is a scenic out-and-back hiking route in Cultus Lake Provincial Park that meanders through an amazingly beautiful stretch of West Coast temperate rainforest. The trail itself is easy to navigate and is full of picturesque trees and forest undergrowth, making this a great outing for hikers of all skill levels, as well as families looking to get out and explore in the forest. With several campgrounds nearby, this trail can be added to your itinerary for an awesome weekend of camping near Cultus Lake.
Getting there
To reach the parking area for the Seven Sisters Trail from Chilliwack, drive southeast on Vedder Road for 3.3mi and take the first exit at the roundabout onto Vedder Mountain Road. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the Columbia Valley Hwy and follow it for 1.8mi. Reaching a third roundabout, take the second to continue on the highway for 1.9mi, where you will turn left to enter the parking area.

Seven Sisters Trail Description
The Seven Sisters Trail is an easy out-and-back hiking route in Cultus Lake Provincial Park that meanders through a beautiful stretch of West Coast temperate rainforest for 2.0mi. The trail is made up of easy terrain and doesn’t offer much in the way of elevation changes, making this route perfect for families that are out exploring the outdoors. This serene forest setting is amplified after a good rainfall, creating an almost mystical atmosphere that is a pleasure to stroll through. Make sure to arrive early for this hike, as it is popular and parking at the trailhead is limited.
There are no navigation challenges to note. You’ll have an easy time following the trail through the gorgeous forest. While the lookout is somewhat limited, the scenery along the trail is serene and enjoyable. Once you reach the lookout, return the way you came.
