Long Lake Trail Description

The Long Lake Trail is a beautiful route east of Park City, Utah. This trail can get quite buggy in the early summer, so we recommend bringing along some bug repellent or wearing long layers to deter mosquitoes. With little shade along the route, you will also want to lather on the sunscreen before hitting the trail. The Long Lake Trail is a fantastic, dog-friendly day-hiking or overnight backpacking route in the summer. This trail makes an excellent, family-friendly snowshoeing trail in the winter with beautiful, serene mountain views.

Beginning at the Crystal Lake Trailhead, follow the Lakes Country Trail 216 west past Crystal Lake to Long Lake.

Explore the shores of Long Lake and go for a fish or a swim in the pristine alpine waters before heading back to the Crystal Lake Trailhead the way you came.
