Log Hollow Trail Description

The Log Hollow Trail is a lovely hike in the Western Uintas. This trail may not have the jaw-dropping views of other hikes in the area, but it is a peaceful forest walk where you can enjoy the Utah wilderness away from the crowds. Dogs are welcome to join you on the Log Hollow Trail but must be kept on a leash at all times. When hiking, be sure to keep an eye out for forest critters such as deer and moose, who are sometimes seen roaming this route.

Beginning at the trailhead, follow the trail northeast to hike the loop counterclockwise. Stay to your left where the trail divides to make your way back around to the trailhead where you began.

Once you are done hiking the Log Hollow Trail, you can either head on home or set up camp for a night under the stars at the Aspencrest campground across the road.
