Whiskey Falls Trail Description
The Whiskey Falls Hike is a magical walk through enchanting forestlands to the mesmerizing cascades. This route is a busy snowmobile trail in the winter months, but it transforms into a secluded nature walk to the snowmelt cascades. Note the route has been reported as confusing and hard to find, so we encourage you to use the trail GPS. We also recommend you bring a picnic and have lunch overlooking the cascades. The road to the trailhead is rough in sections, so we recommend a vehicle with 4-wheel drive.
Setting out from the trailhead, the Whiskey Falls Trail follows Whiskey Snowmobile Trails Road northeast. This scenic footpath will guide you through the enchanting forestlands and over several snowmelt streams. As you wander, enjoy the sounds of the gurgling creeks and the sounds of the wind whistling through the trees. Hiking northeast, the path will eventually reach Whiskey Falls.
The waters will surge in the spring and early summer, but when visiting in the late summer, the waterfalls may be dry! When flowing, you will be granted lovely views of the hypnotic cascades—take the time to revel in the beauty. To get back to the trailhead, simply retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead.
