As far as urban parks go, the Ebey Waterfront Park and Ebey Slough Trail are top-notch. Come out on a nice morning and enjoy the greenery of the park, then hop on the trail to walk alongside the water. It’s a very easy and straightforward walk.
Begin in the park, taking the trail across the road and along the water. Enjoy the views and the well-maintained route. The slough surrounds you partway through the hike. The trail ends as the water narrows, at which point you’ll turn back and walk to the park the same way you came out. Now, picnic time?
