The Aqueduct Trail is a beautiful, family-friendly hike on the eastern edge of Draper, Utah. This hike is very well-maintained and relatively flat, so it’s a great choice for families with kids of all ages. Your favorite four-legged friend is also welcome on this route; however, dogs must be kept on-leash for the duration of their hike.

This trail begins at the Coyote Hollow Trailhead at the end of Coyote Hollow Ct off of Gray Fox Drive in Draper, Utah.

The Aqueduct Trail Description

The Aqueduct Trail is a lovely hike with gorgeous views of the Salt Lake Valley. This trail does not have much shade, so be sure to lather on the sunscreen, wear a good sunhat, and bring lots of water with you. The Aqueduct Trail is dog-friendly; however dogs must be kept on leash for the duration of their hike. Cyclists and mountain bikers also use this trail, so keep your eyes and ears open and allow faster folks to pass you by. The Aqueduct Trail is a well-maintained, flat and wide path that is a perfect place to go for some fresh air and light exercise with the whole family.

From the Coyote Hollow Trailhead, follow the Aqueduct Trail as it heads north. This trail ends just past Bear Canyon where the Aqueduct Trail becomes the Hidden Valley Trail. This spot is a good place to turn back and follow your footsteps back to the trailhead.
