Willow Hollow, Ridge, and Pine Hollow Trail Description

The Willow Hollow and Pine Hollow Trail is a fantastic hike in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This isn’t the longest hike, but it has steep and strenuous sections. Be sure to arrive with proper, supportive hiking footwear and lots of water, especially if you are hiking in the summer. With gorgeous views throughout, this hike is the perfect way to spend an afternoon enjoying the beauty of nature with friends, family, and your favorite pup.

From the Salamander Flat Campground, head southeast along the Willow Hollow Trail. Approximately one mile in, the trail will fork. Take the path on your left to follow the ridge trail north across highway 92 to a divide. At this divide, take the path on your right, then stick to the trail on your left at the subsequent divides to follow the Pine Hollow Trail back to the Salamander Flat Campground where you began.

Back at the Salamander Flat Campground, you can either pack up and head home or set up the tent for a beautiful night under the Utah stars.
