10420 Peak Description
The 10420 Peak Trail is a fantastic summit route with incredible views of the Utah landscape. This trail starts reasonably flat and fairly easy but gets steeper and steeper as you go. Hikers should arrive prepared with proper footwear and lots of water. We recommend bringing hiking poles along with you on this trail to aid in the ascent and save your knees some strain on the way back down. The 10420 Peak trail is beautiful the whole way up and the summit views will leave you breathless.
From the Bloods Lake Trailhead, cross to the south side of the road and follow the trail southeast to a divide. Stay right at this divide and make your way southeast to Bloods Lake. From Bloods Lake, continue southeast then stay right at the next three divides to make your way up to the top of 10420 Peak.
Take a well-deserved rest at the top and enjoy the incredible summit views before turning around and following the same route back to the trailhead.
