Sprague Lake and Glacier Creek Trail Description

The Sprague Lake and Glacier Creek Trail is a charming, versatile trail in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Hike the level terrain around the blue-hued lake, through lodgepole pines and luxuriant meadows. Though this is not a technical summit hike, it delivers such views. Located in the park, visitors are required to purchase a pass to access the trails.

Beginning from the Sprague Lake Trailhead, track northeast along the Sprague Lake Trail. As you venture along the north shore of the lake, you will be granted views of Longs Peak towering in the distance. At the first intersection, hook onto the Glacier Creek Trail. This route will guide you south through a meadow.

You will eventually intersect with Boulder Brook and meet an intersection. Keep right and the next two junctions and you will be delivered back to the Sprague Lake Trailhead.
