Montezuma’s Revenge Trail Description
Hiking along Montezuma’s Revenge is a quick and easy trek through the forests surrounding Fairmont Hot Springs that will both get you some easy exercise and allow you to recharge in a magical forest setting. This is a multi-use trail, so hikers should keep an eye out for passing mountain bikes or trail runners and allow them enough room to pass safely. The trail itself is well-maintained, although route-finding can be difficult due to a lack of trail markers.
The hike sets out beside the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and quickly crosses over Fairmont Creek before beginning a loop through the beautiful forest. What little elevation gain there is on this hike is packed into a few steep stretches, so take your time along these portions and continue working your way along the forested loop. Eventually, you will arrive back at the trailhead where you began your hike.
