Taggart Lake and Bradley Lake Trail Description

The Taggart Lake and Bradley Lake Hike is a beautiful alpine adventure. This beautiful path meanders through corridors of looming evergreens and aspens along the shoreline of two amazing glacial pools. Don’t forget your camera; the snow-dusted mountains in the background are postcard perfect! This route is highly trafficked, so head out in the early morning for a more tranquil experience. While unlikely, a bear encounter is possible, so bring bear spray just in case. Note the Grand Teton National Park charges an entrance fee; head to the NPS website for additional information.

Embark on your journey along the Taggart Lake and Bradley Lake Trail from the trailhead off Teton Park Road. Setting out from here, take the Taggart Lake Loop Trail northwest to an intersection. Turn right here, and you will be diverted into the wilderness along Taggart Creek. Enjoy the shade of the conifer corridor, and eventually, you will merge right onto the Bradley Lake Trail. Follow this path up to the shoreline of the shimmering lake bound by the craggy Teton Mountains. From here, the Valley Trail will guide you south to Taggart Lake.

Wander along the shoreline of the beautiful lake, then continue south to the following junction. Reconnect with the Taggart Lake Loop Trail, meandering through exposed meadows and tree stands back to the trailhead.
