Here, you can take your time meandering through the winding landscape of the canyon, before descending to the falls with the help of some installed ropes, making for a fun adventure that only takes a few hours.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow the winding road as it leads to the northeast, keeping right at the fork to arrive at a stream crossing in 0.48mi. After crossing over the water, head left at the fork and continue along the road as it passes through the canyon landscape for another 0.7mi, before narrowing into a trail.
Here, the trail will turn to the northwest, crossing over the stream several times before arriving at a picnic area after 0.6mi. This is a great place to pause for a rest if you feel so inclined. If not, continue along the trail for another 0.83mi, where you will make the final approach to the waterfall.
Picking up a path on your right, you will need to descend some steep and rugged terrain with the assistance of some rope installations, after which you will arrive at the site of the Trail Canyon Falls. Take some time to explore the area and admire the natural beauty of the 30ft cascade, before heading back along the same route to retrace your steps to the trailhead.
