Siberia Creek Trail Description

If you enjoy taking lengthy adventures that feature rugged mountain terrain, then you should certainly set your sights on the Siberia Creek Trail. This 18.2mi hike will be sure to tire you out with its ascents and descents, but it is one of the best ways to experience the natural beauty of the San Bernardino Mountains.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southeast along the trail and follow it into the dense cover of the forest. Here, you will traverse a steep path downhill through the tree cover that will eventually bring you to the campsite at the confluence of the Bear and Siberia creeks, which is an excellent stopping point if you are looking to turn this into a multi-day adventure.

From the campsite, you will follow Siberia Creek to the southeast, eventually climbing uphill through a series of switchbacks through the forest. After working your way up the winding path, the trail will bend more to the northeast and take you further uphill until you arrive at the 450 year old, 110ft tall Champion Lodgepole Pine at the Bluff Lake Reserve. After visiting this ancient tree, you can head back along the same route to re-experience the rugged terrain of the Siberia Creek Trail on the way back to the trailhead.
