Iverson Spit Preserve Loop Trail Description
The Iverson Spit Preserve offers mostly flat trails with wonderful scenery, including beaches, marshes, and forests. This loop packs lots to see in a short trail. There are other trails on the spit you can use to extend your adventure if desired.
Begin from the end of the road. If you want to start along the beach and return through the forest, go right (counterclockwise). If you prefer to end off the hike on the beach, go left (clockwise). The trail runs along the water to the bluff, where it follows the bluff and then returns inland through the marsh and forest. Linger on the beach a while and enjoy the view!
