Getting there

Crackpot Hall Trail Description

The Crackpot Hall Walk is a lovely journey with many sights to see. Beginning at the carpark, make your way along the path to Birk Hill. Take in the beautiful views of this area, and then continue along the path to reach East Gill force and Kisdon Force. These stunning waterfall areas are a great place to take a break and enjoy a picnic.

Continue to follow the path veering right on Pennine Way, and you will see the ground open up into the valley of Swimmer Gill. Ensure you take time to explore these captivating views before continuing toward the ruins at Crackpot Hall. Pause here to bask in the imagery. Continue along the path, and you will find yourself back at the carpark in Muker where you began, as this is a circuit walk.
