The Highline Trail to the East Park Reservoir is a gorgeous route in the Eastern Uintas. This trail is used by hikers and horseback riders. When hiking, be sure to keep an eye out for horses trying to pass you by. Due to the horses and area wildlife, dogs hiking this trail must be kept on a leash at all times. The East Park Reservoir itself is a fantastic destination for camping and relaxing in the Utah Wilderness. If you are an eager fisherman, be sure to pack your rod, the East Park Reservoir is a great place to fish for both Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout.

Beginning at the Uinta Highline Trail Trailhead off of Highway 191, follow the path west to the East Park Reservoir. A GPS unit can be handy to have on this trail but is not necessary.

Enjoy an afternoon or an evening at the East Park Reservoir before heading back to the trailhead the way you came.
