Discovery Park Extended Loop Trail Description
Discovery Park is a wonderful recreation park north of Seattle that is frequented by walkers, runners, bikers, and adventurers of all ages. This trail loops through Discovery Park in its entirety, giving you the chance to appreciate the park from all angles.
Begin from the trailhead in the parking area. Your loop begins by roughly following Illinois Ave before getting onto Loop Trail. Take this trail to the south end of the park and across to Lookout Bench. From here you’ll drop down to North Beach and walk up the beach to the Loop Trail. Take the boardwalk back to the parking area where you began.
