Baldy Peak Hike Description

If you are after a bit of a rugged bushwhacking experience and want to take in some stunning views from the summit of a mountain, then the Baldy Peak hike will be an ideal route for you to explore. This fun trail will see you pass through some slightly overgrown brush at the start of the hike, so be prepared for an initially slow-going adventure.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow the trail north through the tree cover, before it turns to the west and begins climbing uphill. Here, you will traverse a series of switchbacks through the overgrown landscape and make your woy out of the tree cover towards the ridgeline.

Taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, you will make your way to the northeast along the ridge and follow it as it bends to the west. After pushing up to the summit, you will experience panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and forest, before heading back along the same route to return to the trailhead where you started.
