Ramona Trail Description
Whether you are planning on escaping from the outside world for a nice camping getaway or simply want to hit the trails for a scenic hike, the Ramona Trail is an excellent option that will allow you to reconnect with nature.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way in a southwestern direction and begin gaining elevation along the side of the mountain. Here, you will continue to gradually work your way uphill and traverse some switchbacks, gaining a lovely view of the surrounding mountain terrain in the process.
After passing through a dense stretch of forest, you will arrive at the site of the Toolbox Spring Campground, where you can set up for the night if you are planning on camping out. If not, take some time to explore the area before heading back down along the same trail to return to the trailhead.
