Mormon Rocks Interpretive Trail Description

If you are in the San Bernardino Area and want to get out on a quick adventure with the family to explore the outdoors, then the Mormon Rocks Interpretive Trail is a great option. Named after the Mormon settlers that passed through the area on their way from Utah to San Bernardino in the 1850s, the rocks are an imposing and beautiful geological feature of the Cajon Pass.

Setting out from the trailhead, you will initially make your way to the west in order to climb slightly uphill and take in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Here, the trail will bend to the southeast towards Ralston Peak and provide a great view of the surrounding sandstone boulders, before looping on the final leg of the walk back into the parking area where you began the short adventure.
