Crystal Mountain via PCT Hike Description

Featuring wonderfully scenic views of both the San Bernardino National Forest and the Mojave Desert, the Crystal Mountain via PCT Hike is a great adventure that can be enjoyed by almost anyone. Don’t forget to display your adventure Pass prior to setting out onto the trail.

From the roadside parking area along CA-18, you will make your way to the southeast and through the sparse tree cover. Here, you will gain and lose elevation along the undulating landscape, eventually climbing further uphill for views across the Southern California landscape.

After taking in the views of the San Bernardino National Forest, Mojave Desert, and nearby Baldwin Lake, turn back along the trail and follow the same route to return to the trailhead where you began.
