The Moss Ledge Waterfall Trail is a beautiful destination in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest east of Salt Lake City. This route consists of a short but steep scramble up a rockfall to a gorgeous waterfall. The Moss Ledge Waterfall Trail may be tricky but it can be a whole lot of fun and the payoff at the end is worth it.
Getting there
This hike begins along highway 190/Big Cottonwood Canyon Road just 0.8 miles east of the Mill B North and South Trailheads.

Moss Ledge Waterfall Trail Description
The Moss Ledge Waterfall is a gorgeous stop on your visit to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. This trail may be short, but it is steep and challenging. Hikers must scramble up a rubbly and bouldery rockfall to get to the waterfall. Grippy shoes and scrambling experience go a long way when hiking this trail. Sections of this trail are wet, and you will likely get your feet damp when walking, so leave a spare pair of socks in the car for the drive home. On the Moss Ledge Waterfall Trail, the challenge is completely worth it. The Moss Ledge Waterfall is absolutely gorgeous; we suggest bringing a snack to enjoy at the top as you enjoy the view.
From the trailhead, choose your own adventure to scramble up the rock slide up to the waterfall.
Take a break at the top and enjoy the refreshing mist coming off the Moss Ledge Waterfall before carefully making your way back down.
