The Robin Hood’s Bay to Boggle Hole Walk is an easy-going, family-friendly adventure in North York Moors National Park that will produce some lovely seaside views. While out on the trail, you will traverse the open countryside and enjoy views across the North Sea, before arriving at the weathered cove known as Boggle Hole. Legend has it that there is a boggle or goblin that roams the slopes of this small seaside area, but in reality it is a lovely place to sit and watch the tide.

Robin Hood’s Bay to Boggle Hole Walk Description

If you are after a quick and easy walk in the North York Moors that will allow you to enjoy the picturesque countryside, as well as some lovely seaside views, then the Robin Hood’s Bay to Boggle Hole Walk is the perfect route to do so.

Setting out from the car park Robin Hood’s Bay, you will head to the south along New Road as it winds through the village, eventually turning to the southwest in order to climb a bit further uphill. Here, you will have some pleasant views across the North Sea, as you traverse the open countryside on the way into Boggle Hole.

Once you have crossed over Mill Beck, head left along the road to make your way toward the edge of the water, where you will enjoy some amazing views across the sea while being surrounded by the large weathered rock formations that make up the rugged coast. After taking in the views, simply retrace your steps back into Robin Hood’s Bay.
