The South Puyallup Trail is a 2.9mi lightly trafficked trail in Mount Rainier National Park that is rated as easy. This trail is most often used to access the South Puyallup River Camp as part of a longer backpacking trip as the trailhead is inaccessible directly from a road, but if you’re in the area, it makes a pleasant, moderate walk on its own.
Getting there
The South Puyallup Trail is a connector between Westside Road and Wonderland Trail. You’ll need to be hiking either trail near the camp to reach it.

The South Puyallup Trail serves as a connector between Westside Road and Wonderland Trail. It provides access to the South Puyallup River Camp. Because of its location, it cannot be hiked as a standalone trail, as there is no direct access to the trail off the road.
The trail can be found between Westside and Wonderland, running alongside the South Puyallup River. Roughly in the middle is South Puyallup River Camp.
