Mirror Lake via the PCT is a busy trail in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie Forest that features two lakes. This approach to the lakes is different from the more common, easier one, but it’s still a moderate trip with 1526ft of elevation gain. The lakes are very pretty, but they do get busy, so try coming on a weekday.

Mirror Lake via PCT Description

Mirror Lake Trail is a fantastic hike frequented by local families and dog owners. Reaching the lakes via the Pacific Crest Trail adds just a bit of length and difficulty while still being moderate.
The hike begins where the PCT meets Forest Road 9070. Take the PCT heading southwest. It’s essentially a straight shot, with no junctions or difficult sections to contend with until you get closer to the lakes.

Silver Peak Trail on your right signals that you’re close. Warp around a small body of water and then past three most unnamed ponds (there’s a short spur trail to the shore of the middle one if you’d like a closer look). You’ll see a switchbacking trail on your left shortly after, but you’ll want to drop down the ridge to the shore of Mirror Lake.

On the way back, retrace your steps to the trailhead.
