Keechelus Lake Shoreline Hike Trail Description

The Keechelus Lake Shoreline Hike is the choose your own adventure of the Hyak area. You can go far, you can keep it short, you can be fast, you can dawdle. Hikers of all abilities and ages can enjoy this walk, and with a trail that’s mostly flat and maintains the same view throughout, it’s up to you how far you go on this idyllic trail.

The hike begins in the main trailhead parking area in Hyak. You’ll walk beside the road for a while before approaching the lake and beginning to walk along its western shore. Pass the Cold Creek Campground, pass Roaring Creek Campground, and then turn around where our route ends at Meadow Creek. Past this point is a section of private property.
