Guye Peak Trail is a short hike at 2.4mi, but it packs in 2024ft of elevation gain on the ascent, making it a hard hike. A waterfall delights on the way, and you’ll have a good vantage point from the top. The peak is fairly exposed, so we wouldn’t recommend this hike for youngsters or those uncomfortable with heights.

Guye Peak Trail Description

Short, steep, and rocky. Sound like your kind of trail? Guye Peak Trail is a straight-up sprint to a craggy, exposed peak. This is a good option for those short on time who still want a great workout.

Begin from the parking area, taking Snoqualmie Mountain Trail across the creek and up through the trees. The trail is rocky and a bit unforgiving, gaining solid elevation in a short distance. At the junction, go right.

Traverse through a more manageable section to the next junction, where you’ll keep to the far right and make a final big push to the peak. Although you might still be able to hear the highway, you’ll have nice views to enjoy from the top.

Catch your breath up at the peak before retracing your steps back to the trailhead, taking care on rocky, steep sections.
