Granite Lakes Trail Description
The Granite Lakes Trail is a scenic adventure that feels moderate for its impressive length thanks to a gradual elevation gain and lots of classic Snoqualmie beauty to appreciate.
The trail begins by following the Granite Creek Connector Trail. This section can be a little overgrown, but it’s nothing crazy. If you wanted to shave off some distance, you could start at the Granite Creek trailhead a few miles up the road, which more directly reaches Granite Lakes.
On the connector, hike around the foot of Mailbox Peak until the path curves to your right. You’ll hike alongside Granite Creek and cross the creek several times. Granite Creek Trail becomes Granite Lakes Trail, leading you to the two lakes.
Enjoy the water, then retrace your steps, taking care to turn back onto the connector to end up at the same trailhead.
