Taking you along the shoreline of charming Gull Lake, the Gull Lake Loop is an ideal route for beginner hikers and families with younger children as it is both short, and lacks much elevation incline. The Gull Lake Loop is also considered to be an excellent place to view wildlife.

Gull Lake Loop Description
Depending on the time that you plan on visiting the Gull Lake Loop, the mosquitoes can be rather prolific. Therefore, if you are planning on doing the route in the spring, we recommend bringing lots of bug repellent and wearing both long sleeves and pants.
With your vehicle parked, follow Gull Lake Campground Road around the eastern shore of Gull Lake. Continue on along the road as it makes its way to the southern shore of the lake, where the road will then turn into a footpath. Follow Fisherman Trail as it makes its way along the southern shoreline of Gull Lake before reaching a junction within the trail.
At the junction, take Gull Lake Trail Road onto the Gull Lake Trail Footpath and follow the pathway northwest. You will then arrive at two more junctions where you are to stay on Gull Lake Trail as it follows the eastern shore of Gull Lake. Having gotten off the footpath and back onto the paved Gull Lake Campground Road, you will take a right turn after the June Lake Community Center and will have arrived back at your vehicle.
