Big Creek Falls Trail Description
Scenic Big Creek Falls awaits on this short, enjoyable hike. This trail is a quick one to complete and is easy enough for young kids or complete beginners. Stop to stretch your legs or use it as a quick way to enjoy nature.
The trees around this trail are seemingly a bit unstable, with a lot of blowdown occurring after storms. It’s best to give the trail time to be cleared if it’s been quite windy out.
Beginning from the road, Big Creek Falls are visible right from the start, with the viewpoint just a few steps into the trail. Snap some photos and enjoy the view. Then, continue down the path as it follows Big Creek, catching a peek of Cave Falls further down. Lower Cave Falls are just barely visible from the end of the trail, where you’ll turn around and retrace your steps to the trailhead.
