Greens Basin Trail Description
Greens Basin Trail is a beautiful hike in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This trail is moderately challenging with a consistent incline. Proper hiking footwear is essential for this trial, and we recommend bringing along a set of hiking poles for some extra support. The Greens Basin trail is absolutely gorgeous year-round. In the summer, this hike is bursting with wildflowers, and in the winter, this trail makes a spectacular snowshoeing route when the Utah landscape is covered in the sparkling crystals of freshly fallen snow.
From the Spruces Campground, follow the Days Fork Trail south to a divide, then take a left to head east along the Green Basin Trail. Follow the trail into Greens Basin before turning around and retracing your path back out to the trailhead.
