Oakley Ridge Trail Description

The Oakley Ridge Trail is a beautiful route in the Western Uintas. This trail does not have a ton of shade and can get very hot in the summer sunshine. If you are hiking in the summer, be sure to wear a sunhat and sunscreen, and bring along lots of water for your hike. You will also want to bring along a camera; the views from the Oakley Ridge Trail are stunning. The Oakley Ridge Trail is dog friendly, and this hike is a great way to get some fresh air and go for an adventure with your favorite four-legged friend not far from town.

Beginning at the Oakley Trailhead, follow the trail east up the switchbacks to Oakley Ridge. Then, follow the ridgeline south for approximately 1.7mi up to the highpoint.

Enjoy the views from the top before turning around and heading back down the way you came.
