The Cataract Gorge Trail is a beautiful trail in western Uintas. Access to this trail does require a vehicle with high clearance and four-wheel drive. If you do not have such a vehicle, you can park just off Highway 150 and hike to the trailhead; however, this adds about 4.0mi to your hike (round-trip). The Cataract Gorge Trail is used by hikers, mountain-bikers, and OHV drivers; when hiking, stay aware of your surroundings and allow folks on wheels to pass you by.
