The Sawmill and Belcher Hill Hike departs from the Sawmill Trailhead off the Belcher Hill Road. From here, hike southeast along the Sawmill Trail. This section of the path will guide you through a lush meadow before delivering you to an intersection. At this point, hikers can choose to complete the loop trail from either direction, but we suggest tracking clockwise. Keep left and hike along the semi-shaded path. Soon, you will pass the dispersed campground before confronting another junction. Keep right and you will be diverted onto the Mustang Trail. Trek briefly along this route before merging onto the Belcher Hill Trail.
Track southeast along this trail, keeping an eye out for grazing wildlife. This path will eventually guide you back to the intersection. From this point, simply retrace your footing along the Sawmill Trail all the way back to the trailhead.
