Murdock Mountain Trail Description

The Murdock Mountain Trail is a short and technical hike to the top of Murdock Mountain in the western Uintas. This trail is not well defined and requires scrambling and route-finding. Hikers should arrive prepared with proper, supportive hiking footwear, lots of water, and a sense of adventure. With lots to explore along the way and incredible views at the top, a hike up Murdock Mountain is a great little adventure in the western Uinta wilderness.

From the trailhead, make your way southeast to the top of Murdock Mountain.

Enjoy a well-deserved summit before heading back the way you came. Be sure to take your time on the descent and watch your footing on the way down to arrive safely back at the trailhead where you began.
