Hidden Lake itself is a fantastic spot to spend the day fishing and relaxing in the beautiful Utah wilderness.
Getting there
This hike begins along Duck Lake Trail 210 in the Western Uinta Lake Country. Duck Lake Trail 210 can be accessed via the Crystal Lake Trailhead.

The hike to Hidden Lake via Duck Lake Trail 210 is a great route in the western Uintas. This hike is not physically challenging but does require good route-finding skills. We recommend downloading or printing a map of this route before hitting the trail. This hike is in a very popular area of the Uinta Wilderness but gets little traffic compared to the surrounding trails. If you are up for the adventure, this trail is a great way to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace and serenity in the Utah wilderness.
Beginning at Duck Lake Trail 210, just west of Duck Lake, head south along the faint trail past Brook Lake to Hidden Lake.
Enjoy an afternoon on the shores of Hidden Lake. When you are ready to head home, simply retrace your steps back to the Duck Lake Trail, where you began.
