Cuckmere Valley is a wonderful walk that gets your heart pumping. Wander along the path through the field until you reach the incline. When you reach the top after your steep trek, you will be captivated by views of the Seven Sisters cliffside that hangs over the ocean.

Getting there

To get to the Cuckmere Valley Walk from Seaford, head northeast on Blatchington Road toward Richmond Terrace and in 0.3mi, take a slight right onto Sutton Drove. In 0.5mi, turn right onto Alfriston Road, and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Eastbourne Road/A259. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Eastbourne Road/A259, and in 1.7mi, turn right onto Clapham Lane, and take a slight right. In 0.2mi you will arrive at your destination.

Cuckmere Valley Walk Description

The Cuckmere Valley Walk is a popular stroll among tourists and locals as the views are outstanding. Beginning at the car park, walk along the path through the fields that are filled with wildflowers in the summer months. As you continue, you will come to a steep incline. When you reach the top, views of the Seven Sisters white chalk cliffs towering over the sparking blue ocean will become visible. This is an incredible sight to see and many people make the trek up the incline to see it. When you are finished taking in the views, continue to follow the path, and you will arrive back at the car park where you began.
