Brewer Trail Description
Brewer Trail is a nice way to get up to the Airport Mesa viewpoint and vortex site if parking is full on Airport Road and you don’t want to pay to park in the private lot. It’s a short hike but the views simply won’t disappoint! This approach takes you directly up to the viewpoint and vortex site.
The trail is a bit rocky, so good boots are recommended. Nearly all the elevation gain occurs in the first half-mile, and then it’s a relaxed hike thereafter.
From the trailhead, take the trail as it climbs the base of the mesa past the last residential streets. The first half-mile is the steepest, but it doesn’t last long. Stay left towards the viewpoint, where you’ll want to snap some photos. From here, you can either head back down or further explore the saddle between the two mesas.
Insider Hints
The gorgeous Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village isn’t far from the starting point of this trail. It’s one of our favorite spots in Sedona.
