Neff’s Canyon Loop is a fantastic little hike on the edge of Holladay, Utah. This trail is very popular with families with kids of all ages. Dogs are also allowed on this trail and should be kept on leash at all times. This easy hike is lots of fun, oh-so-beautiful year-round, and is one of the most well-loved routes in the area.

Neff’s Canyon Loop begins at Neffs Trailhead at the south end of White Way on the edge of Salt Lake City.

Neff’s Canyon Loop Description
Neff’s Canyon Loop is a short and easy hike in the beautiful Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. In the winter, early spring, and late fall this trail does get icy. If you are heading out at that time of year, we recommend bringing along a pair of traction devices such as microspikes to give you extra grip. Neff’s Canyon Loop is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. When you hit the trail, be prepared for large groups and lots of dogs.
If you are looking for a great way to start the day, an evening stroll to wind down after work, or a hike for the whole family, Neff’s Canyon Loop is the trail for you. This easy hike is gorgeous, and easily accessible from town. Head out on this trail at any time of year and it will quickly become a favorite.
From Neff’s Trailhead, follow the path heading southeast to a divide. Take a right at the divide and hike a few hundred yards along Norths Fork until the trail loops back northwest. Continue northwest until you find yourself back at the trailhead where you began.
