Millvue Peak Trail Description
The Millvue Peak Trail is a beautiful summit hike in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest east of Salt Lake City, Utah. This trail is challenging with a steep and consistent climb to the top of Millvue Peak. Parts of this trail are overgrown, so we recommend wearing long pants to avoid getting scratched up by prickly plants. The last stretch of this hike is the most challenging, with a steep and loose scramble to the top of the peak. If you are anxious about heights or are not confident in your skills to ascend and descend safely, you can always turn back at one of the false summits before Millvue Peak.
From the Elbow Fork Trailhead, follow Elbow Fork north, then take a right at the trail divide to head east along the Lambs Canyon Trail. At Lambs Canyon Pass, take the trail on your right to head up the ridgeline to the top of Millvue Peak.
At the summit, take a rest and soak in the incredible views of the forest below before turning around and retracing your steps to the Elbow Fork Trailhead where you began.
