The Lower East Inlet Campsites Hike is a charming subalpine hike. The diversity of the path demonstrates all the best sights that the Colorado wilderness has to offer. This path treks through exposed terrain and tree shade, so wear layers as insurance against various weather conditions. Located within the Rocky Mountain National Park, visitors are required to purchase a park pass to access the trails.

Begin your adventure along the Lower East Inlet Campsites Hike from the East Inlet Trailhead. From here, take the East Inlet Trail southeast. Shortly after your departure from the trailhead, you will meet an intersection. Here, turn right and you will be diverted onto the Adams Falls Loop. Hike along this route to the charming cascades. Continue along the path until it delivers you back to the East Inlet Trail. Veer right and follow the route east. Soon you will be guided to a luxuriant meadow. Keep an eye out for wildlife!

Follow along the shores of the East Inlet Creek, passing a few dispersed campsites before arriving at the Lower East Inlet Campsites. From here you will be granted epic mountain views of the encompassing peaks. Revel in the scenery, and when you are ready, retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead. If you want to revisit the falls, turn left at the intersection, otherwise continue along the East Inlet Trail to the trailhead.
