Twin Falls Loop Description

Due to the various highlights along the Twin Falls Loop, parking areas will fill up very quickly. Get to the park early to beat the crowds, or utilize nearby street parking to make the short walk to the trailhead. This park is home to the beautiful rushing waters of Lynn Creek, so be careful when on bridges or near ledges, as there are steep drop-offs down into the canyon below.

Although the park may have busy crowds, the Twin Falls Loop is an amazing hike where the entire family can experience the beauty of Vancouver’s North Shore and see several of the exciting highlights that it has to offer. Cross over the swaying length of the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge with its rushing waters below, take a dip in the serene waters of 30 Foot Pool before experiencing the majestic sights of the Twin Falls. There’s a lot of excitement stuffed into this short trail, so it’s the perfect option for an action-packed day out.

To get started on the trail, head north from the parking area and cross over the suspension bridge that drapes across the valley below. Take a moment as you cross to look down at the water as it rapidly flows through the rocky canyon before continuing on to the next highlight of the trail. Head left after the bridge to make your way alongside Lynn Creek toward 30 Foot Pool. Here you can find a nice spot to sit and relax for a snack, or jump into the refreshingly cool waters of the pool on a hot day.

Packing up your things, hike back along the same trail, passing the suspension bridge until you reach a trail junction. Follow this trail left, making your way around the loop as it skirts alongside Lillooet Road for 0.7mi. As you reach the junction with the Baden Powell Trail, follow it as it crosses the road and heads around the southern edge of the loop toward the Twin Falls. Here you will be able to view the majestic rushing waters of the Lynn Creek as they crash down on the rocks below. After you’ve taken in the sights, continue on the loop back toward the suspension bridge, having completed the Twin Falls Loop.
