Old Wagon Trail Description

Old Wagon Trail is a treat, taking you through a wonderful forest with old-growth cedars to admire. The beginning of this hike is only accessible on foot, so you’ll need to pair it with another adventure or do it as part of a backpacking trip.

Begin from the PCT trailhead. You’ll take a few switchbacks past Howard Lake. Stay left after the lake and then again after two creek crossings. Several more creek crossings follow and the elevation gain evens out after the steeper first section.

The trail ends near Bridge Creek Camp. Either continue on in the same direction or return to the trailhead by retracing your steps.
